What you will do

• Lead end-to-end integration engineering, from high-level architecture and discovery to code implementation.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic users, owning escalations and resolving operational issues.
• Design and implement complex integrations while providing deep technical support and debugging of both Stripe and user code.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to proactively surface potential feature enhancements based on field feedback.
• Review and optimize existing user integrations to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Build custom tools, analytics, and dashboards to support operational needs and business reviews.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a software engineering or integration engineering role.
• Proficiency in writing and debugging code in Go, Java, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Strong generalist technical background, including SQL and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of the payments domain and API security principles.
• Ability to lead strategic technical conversations and map business requirements to technical solutions.
• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin HQ.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles like solutions engineering or technical consulting.
• Experience mentoring engineers or guiding technical teams through complex implementations.
• Strong technical writing skills for documenting complex integration guidance.
