Social Media Manager (Sports Media)

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate social coverage across sport-specific priority handles and the @hirify.global handle.
• Own programming strategy and schedule internal creators across events, fights, and matchdays.
• Program the @hirify.global handle to amplify major moments and stories across hirify.global’s sports rights portfolio.
• Make editorial decisions during live events and publish fast, accurate, platform-native content.
• Create content by filming, editing, posting, and clipping live feeds.
• Collaborate with social leads, Editorial, Creative, Marketing, and Production teams while using performance insights to optimize coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading social teams in sports or media environments.
• Strong knowledge of multiple major sports and social programming, live coverage, and platform dynamics.
• Experience managing internal content creators across multiple simultaneous priorities.
• Ability to create end-to-end social content alongside the team.
• Strong strategic thinking, editorial judgment, and decisive leadership in fast-paced live sports environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based mostly onsite from the New York office.
