What you will do
- Identify official sources for laws, regulations, and news regarding regulatory changes.
- Extract and manage key metadata including citations, effective dates, and status.
- Translate legal and regulatory content into English using machine translation and manual QA.
- Monitor and update regulatory databases to ensure information remains current.
- Perform RegBook inventory generation and match sources against customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for translation errors and resolve regulatory queries.
Requirements
- Translation experience in either Dutch or Czech required.
- Fluent in English (UK) with strong communication skills.
- Proven experience in legal research and analysis of complex information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic research tools.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive data.
- Language qualification in a second language at A-level or higher.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of legal citation, terminology, and legislative processes.
- Legal or translation qualifications.
- Experience working within the Financial Services sector.
- Fluency in multiple second languages.
