What you will do

• Lead regulatory operations for UK entities and ensure adherence to policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Own regulatory affairs, licensing, and direct engagement with the FCA.
• Oversee second-line monitoring, safeguarding, and internal audit remediation.
• Partner with Product teams to embed compliance controls into the development lifecycle from day zero.
• Conduct gap analyses and risk assessments for new jurisdictions and product approvals.
• Provide compliance advice to stakeholders and report on risk status to the Board and governance committees.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in FCA-regulated payments, e-money, crypto, or banking sectors.
• 3-5 years in a senior leadership or Head of Compliance capacity.
• Expert-level knowledge of PSRs, EMRs, the FCA handbook, and safeguarding rules.
• Deep understanding of UK AML, CTF, and Sanctions regulations.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional strategic initiatives and influence senior leadership.
• Relevant professional certifications in Compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS).
