What you will do

• Own and drive the Defect Management process across automotive software projects throughout the product lifecycle.
• Tailor generic processes to specific customer and release requirements, ensuring compliance with ASPICE and internal quality standards.
• Define and maintain project workflows, ticket handling conventions, tagging concepts, and reporting structures.
• Coordinate ticket triage, resolve ownership conflicts, and reduce ticket ping-pong between teams and suppliers.
• Monitor project performance via KPIs such as ticket aging, processing times, and release readiness indicators.
• Lead Defect Control Boards and synchronize defect exchanges with customers and suppliers using tools like Jira and ELVIS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional working experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong affinity for data, structured work, and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and experience using AI-assisted productivity tools.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Education in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Practical experience with VBA and/or Python for automation.
