What you will do
- Own and drive the Defect Management process across automotive software projects throughout the product lifecycle.
- Tailor generic processes to specific customer and release requirements, ensuring compliance with ASPICE and internal quality standards.
- Define and maintain project workflows, ticket handling conventions, tagging concepts, and reporting structures.
- Coordinate ticket triage, resolve ownership conflicts, and reduce ticket ping-pong between teams and suppliers.
- Monitor project performance via KPIs such as ticket aging, processing times, and release readiness indicators.
- Lead Defect Control Boards and synchronize defect exchanges with customers and suppliers using tools like Jira and ELVIS.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional working experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong affinity for data, structured work, and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and experience using AI-assisted productivity tools.
- Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Bucharest, Romania.
Nice to have
- Education in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Practical experience with VBA and/or Python for automation.
