What you will do

• Maintain the availability and durability of critical production services across environments.
• Monitor service health using SLIs and SLOs, and lead incident response and post-mortem reviews.
• Develop automation for operational tasks to reduce toil using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Maintain and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on resilient system design and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Must be based in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico.
• 2–4 years of experience in site reliability, systems engineering, or operations.
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, or Go.
• Understanding of containers (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS, service provider, or distributed systems environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL/OSS practices and SLO/SLA management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
