TL;DR

CloudOps Engineer (Cloud): Supporting the deployment, scaling, and management of global SaaS production infrastructure with an accent on high availability, security, and performance. Focus on automating cloud infrastructure using IaC, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and resolving complex system bottlenecks.

Location: Hybrid in La Paz, Bolivia. Must be based in Bolivia and able to work from the office 4 days per week.

Salary: Paid monthly in US dollars.

What you will do

• Manage, optimize, and scale cloud-based infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployments.
• Use AI-assisted tools for troubleshooting, automation, IaC work, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, system failures, and network-related issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on cloud architecture and operational best practices.
• Handle an on-call rotation schedule to ensure 24/7 platform support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, operations, or DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, firewalls) and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Authorization to work in Bolivia and a Police Clearance Certificate.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
