What you will do

• Develop complete structural and mechanical design packages including 3D CAD models and fabrication drawings.
• Design large-scale hot exhaust and flue gas ducting systems, including structural casings and transitions.
• Apply mechanical design principles to account for thermal expansion and high-temperature environments.
• Coordinate ducting interfaces with components such as SCRs, stacks, dampers, and expansion joints.
• Review and validate peer design work while providing technical guidance to junior designers and drafters.
• Manage design packages from initial concept through to final fabrication.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial structural or mechanical design, preferably in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in 3D CAD modeling and fabrication-ready drawing development.
• Proven experience designing large-scale industrial ducting systems for high-temperature applications.
• Solid understanding of geometry, material take-offs, and structural design principles.
• Must be based in the United States.
