What you will do

• Develop monitoring and modelling strategies for the optimal re-use of urban wastewater.
• Translate scientific research into tangible, implementable technical solutions.
• Implement active monitoring and design-optimisation with Waterboard Amstel, Gooi and Vecht.
• Utilize novel sensors and deep learning algorithms to track and predict produced water quality.
• Collaborate within a large international consortium as part of the EU Horizon QleanUP project.

Requirements

• MSc degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven modelling, data analysis, and monitoring.
• Affinity with urban wastewater treatment systems.
• English: C1 level required (proof via TOEFL or IELTS required if not native or degree from English-speaking institution).
• Location: Availability to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary research teams.
