What you will do

• Architect next-generation slider-attach and adhesive dispense processes with micro-meter and nano-liter precision.
• Lead early-stage process invention, machine design, and control system feasibility through rapid prototyping.
• Develop deep physics-based understanding of adhesive behavior, bondline control, and thermo-mechanical interactions.
• Identify and quantify critical process variables (KPIVs) and their relationships to product quality (KPOVs).
• Define and co-develop novel dispense, placement, and curing tool concepts including vision alignment and automation.
• Partner with global design and materials teams to influence product architecture and ensure scalable implementation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on expertise in the design and development of micro-precision assembly equipment.
• Strong background in multi-axis motion systems and integrated sensor technologies.
• Experience in process development, materials, or manufacturing engineering.
• Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, and structured problem-solving methods like DOE or Six Sigma.
• English: B2 level required for global collaboration.
• Ability to support cross-time zone engagement with global partners.
