Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Compensation: $293,000 – $515,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Define north-star metrics and measurement frameworks for the identity experience.
• Design and analyze experiments to optimize sign-up, onboarding, and account recovery funnels.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve authentication success while maintaining security safeguards.
• Quantify trade-offs between growth objectives and abuse prevention outcomes.
• Develop methodologies for causal inference and observational analysis when A/B testing is not feasible.
• Build source-of-truth datasets and dashboards to enable scalable decision-making.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product data science, experimentation, or product analytics.
• Strong expertise in designing experiments and applying causal inference in production.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven track record of independently defining metrics and influencing product strategy.
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working on identity, authentication, trust and safety, fraud, or abuse prevention.
• Background in growth-focused product analytics.
