What you will do
- Own the product vision and roadmap for payments, checkout, fraud, and routing systems.
- Design scalable APIs and tools to support internal teams and external global merchants.
- Define and track key performance indicators for PSP performance, fraud rates, and acceptance.
- Lead discovery and delivery processes within a high-volume, regulated financial environment.
- Align commercial, technical, and financial stakeholders to drive business impact.
- Improve conversion rates and reduce fraud through data-driven product enhancements.
Requirements
- Must be based in Germany.
- Proven experience leading complex payment or fraud systems, ideally from scratch.
- Hands-on expertise with global PSPs like Adyen, Stripe, or dLocal and fraud tools like Sift or Signifyd.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and act on key metrics.
- Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineers on architecture and API design.
- Experience in cross-functional alignment across commercial, legal, compliance, and finance teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with emerging markets or LATAM.
- Knowledge of smart routing and scoring models.
