What you will do

• Own the product vision and roadmap for payments, checkout, fraud, and routing systems.
• Design scalable APIs and tools to support internal teams and external global merchants.
• Define and track key performance indicators for PSP performance, fraud rates, and acceptance.
• Lead discovery and delivery processes within a high-volume, regulated financial environment.
• Align commercial, technical, and financial stakeholders to drive business impact.
• Improve conversion rates and reduce fraud through data-driven product enhancements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany.
• Proven experience leading complex payment or fraud systems, ideally from scratch.
• Hands-on expertise with global PSPs like Adyen, Stripe, or dLocal and fraud tools like Sift or Signifyd.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and act on key metrics.
• Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineers on architecture and API design.
• Experience in cross-functional alignment across commercial, legal, compliance, and finance teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with emerging markets or LATAM.
• Knowledge of smart routing and scoring models.
