Location: Must be based in Singapore or Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS and consulting services contracts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, deal desk, finance, privacy, and product legal teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to accelerate deal velocity while protecting company interests.
• Identify and explain non-standard terms and associated risks to business stakeholders.
• Manage high-volume workloads and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to and leverage new AI-driven legal tools and systems.

Requirements

• LL.B. or JD degree with strong academic credentials.
• Admitted to practice law in Singapore, UK, US, Australia, or Japan.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including a mix of law firm and in-house technology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience at an internationally recognized law firm.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Must be based in Singapore or Sydney.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Japanese or Mandarin Chinese.
• Solid understanding of local and international privacy and data protection laws.
• Experience with administrative management systems like Salesforce, DocuSign, Ironclad, or JIRA.
