What you will do

• Analyze and design integrated planning and shop floor processes across MRP, PPDS, and SFI (Apriso/MES).
• Lead functional design sessions connecting planning logic with manufacturing execution transactions.
• Configure and test S/4HANA PPDS, MRP, and SFI interfaces to ensure synchronization.
• Author functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, and process automation.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and technical teams to ensure scalable, standardized integrations.
• Support data validation, integration testing, and production readiness for system deployments.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to national defense system support.
• Experience designing and supporting integrated production planning, scheduling, and execution processes in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production order management, routing, and scheduling logic within SAP PPDS and S/4HANA.
• Experience authoring functional specifications and translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Proven ability to collaborate with ABAP and MES developers on integrated functional solutions.
• Experience supporting end-to-end system implementation including requirements gathering, testing, and go-live.

Nice to have

• Hands-on configuration experience with SAP S/4HANA PPDS and SAP Manufacturing Execution (Apriso).
• Familiarity with dynamic scheduling, finite capacity planning, and sequencing logic.
• Experience using Jira and SAP Focused Build for requirements and testing management.
• Background in Agile or hybrid ERP delivery environments.
