Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 USD (OTE).

What you will do

• Manage the complex, longitudinal lifecycle of oncology test orders within the University of Michigan Health System.
• Map and master internal laboratory ordering systems, EHR routing, and specimen release policies.
• Monitor patient testing logs to ensure strict adherence to serial testing cadences.
• Partner with the local Clinical Oncology Specialist to maintain and deepen relationships with oncologists and pathology staff.
• Educate clinical teams on digital tools, order tracking, and specimen collection requirements.
• Ensure all activities adhere to HIPAA, patient privacy, and institutional compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Medical sciences, biology, or healthcare administration preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, clinical support, case management, or laboratory operations.
• Deep familiarity with University of Michigan Health System (Michigan Medicine) workflows and pathology protocols is highly preferred.
• Strong case management skills with a track record of navigating complex, multi-step logistical processes.
• Technical proficiency in CRM tools, hospital-facing portals, and internal tracking databases.
• Ability to balance field-based case management with administrative territory planning.
