What you will do

• Serve as the primary liaison between NIS and USGS leadership to ensure successful execution of task orders.
• Manage overall contract requirements, deliverables, schedules, and quality standards.
• Develop staffing approaches, labor mixes, level-of-effort estimates, and cost estimates.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance management for program personnel.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security requirements, and quality control standards.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Program Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 10+ years of program or project management experience supporting Federal Government contracts.
• 5+ years managing large, multi-disciplinary federal programs, IDIQ contracts, or task-order-based programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a USGS/Department of the Interior (DOI) suitability determination.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting USGS Mid-Continent Region (MCR), NWQL, ESPD, or other DOI scientific organizations.
• Familiarity with CPARS and federal quality assurance programs.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
