Director, Project Management: Lead program and project management for Security projects, establishing a Project Management Center of Excellence and driving global execution with an accent on portfolio alignment, stage-gate governance, and cross-functional delivery. Location: Hybrid schedule — onsite in Deerfield, IL office Tuesdays–Thursdays; remote Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD (base range)

What you will do

• Serve as a key member of the Portfolio Management team to align the portfolio with business strategy and optimize resource and dollar investments.
• Lead program and project management for GPG, establishing a Project Management Center of Excellence across GPG.
• Develop and manage project plans that execute product strategies to achieve Growth and OI objectives and align with overall strategic portfolio requirements.
• Direct complex product development project portfolios across multiple internal/external stakeholders, including enterprise leaders.
• Manage global project budgets, validate financial forecasts, reconcile resources, and oversee project expenditures.
• Lead major change management initiatives and represent project management in governance forums, including executive updates.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible program and project management roles in an engineering/technical product development environment.
• 8+ years leading multiple cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong knowledge of product development and design processes.
• Working knowledge of project management techniques and best practices (e.g., agile, work breakdown structure, critical path management, risk mitigation).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented leadership.
• Must be eligible to work in a hybrid schedule with onsite presence in Deerfield, IL (Tuesdays–Thursdays).
