What you will do

• Gather and analyze functional and technical requirements for embedded systems.
• Design, develop, and implement low-level source code for next-gen ECUs.
• Test and debug embedded software using oscilloscopes, debuggers, and logic analyzers.
• Optimize system performance and improve code quality through peer reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and procedural challenges.
• Automate build processes using Python and shell scripting.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• Must be able to work onsite in Mossville, IL five days a week.
• Solid experience in low-layer embedded software development (RTOS, I/O drivers, boot loaders).
• Proficiency in C or C++ programming.
• Familiarity with communication networks like J1939, CAN, or Ethernet.

Nice to have

• Experience with AUTOSAR standards and modular architecture.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and anti-patterns.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in version management tools like Git.
