Systems Integration and Test Engineer (C/C++)

Hourly rate: $55.00–$87.50, with limited benefits

What you will do

• Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration solutions for in-house, COTS, and GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
• Translate customer contractual needs into system test solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Define functional and technical specifications, input/output parameters, and hardware/software interface requirements.
• Develop and direct comprehensive system and subsystem test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate testing activities, analyze test results, and prepare system-level evaluation reports.
• Document discrepancies and perform integration regression testing to validate software and system fixes.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6–10 years of professional experience, or a related master’s degree with 4–8 years of professional experience.
• 4–6 years of software development experience with C or C++.
• 4–6 years of production experience.
• 6+ years of test equipment design experience.
• 6+ years of electronic and mechanical testing experience.

Nice to have

• LabView, LabWindows/CVI, and National Instruments experience in development and maintenance of complex systems.
• Automated test equipment hardware integration experience with switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, and automation.
• Automated test equipment development and maintenance experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Experience with electro-optic sensor solutions for military platforms.
