Senior Product Architect (Quote-to-Order)

Senior Product Architect (Quote-to-Order): Designing and enhancing end-to-end subscription and billing management systems with an accent on Quote-to-Order (Q2O) capabilities and complex business process automation. Focus on driving cross-functional architectural alignment, leading solution evaluations, and delivering scalable technical strategies for enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Morrisville, North Carolina, USA with a hybrid working environment.

Compensation: $147,900 – $220,000 USD (On Target Earnings).

What you will do

• Partner with Enterprise Architects and Product Managers to define multi-year service strategies and target state architectures.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional and non-functional solution designs for SaaS and bespoke applications.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize design artifacts and ensure alignment with enterprise domain guidelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies, gap analysis, and software product evaluations to support platform evolution.
• Present architecture recommendations, trade-offs, and solution narratives to Director and VP-level stakeholders.
• Drive POCs and influence decision-making across Product, Sales Ops, Finance, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 12-14 years of IT experience, with at least 8-10 years specifically in the Quote-to-Order domain.
• Strong expertise in Subscription & Billing Management, including Quote Management, Renewals, Pricing, and Order Orchestration.
• Proven experience with major Q2O platforms such as Oracle CPQ Cloud, Oracle ERP Cloud, Zuora, or SAP BRIM.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to business leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with e-Commerce platforms such as Oracle Commerce Cloud.
• Background in new product introduction (NPI) and product release processes.
