What you will do

• Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for grocery dispatching and delay detection products.
• Hire and develop a high-performing team of software engineers through coaching and growth opportunities.
• Integrate AI tools and efficiencies into the software development lifecycle to accelerate productivity.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into deliverables.
• Ensure operational excellence, focusing on system availability, performance, and incident response at scale.
• Drive architectural decisions and technical trade-offs for multi-tiered distributed systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using SOA.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Developer.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performance engineering teams.
• Proven track record of delivering large, cross-functional, customer-facing products.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including agile, coding standards, and CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering products in fast-paced, ambiguous, and distributed-responsibility environments.
