TL;DR

Onsite Medical Representative (Medical): Providing emergency first aid and health management for the workforce with an accent on occupational safety and injury prevention. Focus on administering immediate medical care, coordinating return-to-work programs, and coaching employees on safe body mechanics.

Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO, USA

Salary: $26.00 - $31.00 hourly

What you will do

  • Provide immediate first aid support and refer associates to external medical providers as necessary.
  • Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for employees with work-related injuries.
  • Maintain detailed medical records of care provided and submit daily activity reports.
  • Coach employees and leadership on the operations floor regarding at-risk work habits and body mechanics.
  • Facilitate and maintain certifications for first aid, CPR, and AED classes.
  • Support emergency response at the site and assist with drug testing protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
  • Valid EMT, Paramedic, or Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) certification.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours and lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Must be based in Aurora, CO (Onsite).

Nice to have

  • Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED from AHA or American Red Cross.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation.
  • Prior experience as a military Combat Medic, Field Medic, or Healthcare Specialist.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
