What you will do

• Design and optimize core search algorithms for on-device execution under strict CPU and memory constraints.
• Develop advanced tile compression techniques and efficient delta update pipelines for offline data delivery.
• Collaborate with R&D and backend teams to ensure parity between cloud and offline search products.
• Engage with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to align technical deliverables with hardware specifications.
• Monitor system telemetry to evaluate performance tradeoffs and drive architectural improvements.
• Define technical roadmaps and author design documents for next-generation offline search capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with solid understanding of memory management and multi-threading.
• Experience with Python for tooling, data processing, or test automation.
• Proven ability to analyze and optimize code for performance-constrained environments.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithmic efficiency, and binary data formats.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Prior experience in the mapping, navigation, or automotive industry.
