What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of network requirements and global partner onboarding.
• Lead commercial and contract negotiations with banking partners, PSPs, and global card schemes.
• Manage and scale a global team of Relationship Management Directors across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
• Drive strategy for direct participation in local payment schemes to create competitive advantages.
• Implement a world-class relationship management framework including QBRs, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with product, regulatory, and treasury teams to ensure operational readiness and compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking with 5+ years in global leadership roles.
• Proven track record of negotiating with major card schemes like Visa, Mastercard, or China UnionPay.
• Deep expertise in cross-border payments, card rails, A2A, and local payout methods.
• Experience securing direct access or sponsorship to local payment schemes such as SEPA or Faster Payments.
• Strong commercial acumen and regulatory fluency regarding licensing and scheme rules.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in setting direction and goals.
