What you will do

• Own Infrastructure Platform product strategy and roadmap, translating reliability, isolation, data residency, and multi-cloud goals into an outcomes-driven plan.
• Act as the voice of internal engineering teams and enterprise stakeholders (CISOs/CIOs/infrastructure leaders) with strict compliance and sovereignty requirements.
• Drive discovery and write PRDs that frame outcomes (isolation, compliance, availability) and pressure-test feasibility and trade-offs with engineering leads and architects.
• Make hard prioritization decisions balancing near-term delivery with long-term architecture evolution and risk.
• Define and track platform metrics (availability/SLA attainment, provisioning lead time, deployment frequency, change-failure rate, adoption, developer satisfaction).
• Establish scalable mechanisms for region readiness/certification, release management, and cross-team alignment; communicate clearly across technical and business contexts.

Requirements

• Technical-leadership background: 7+ years combined engineering and product experience for Staff, or 10+ years with demonstrated product leadership for Principal; prior Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or senior/staff engineer experience strongly preferred.
• Deep infrastructure fluency with hands-on familiarity across Azure, AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, networking, identity/auth, and observability.
• Platform product judgment: ability to design for reusability, operability, and long-term developer experience rather than one-off features.
• Comfort with ambiguity and complexity: ability to bring clarity, sequencing, and momentum across multi-team initiatives with competing constraints.
• Strong product fundamentals: discovery, roadmapping, writing crisp PRDs and narratives, defining measurable success criteria, and running disciplined delivery with engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to audiences from engineers to enterprise security reviewers and company leadership.
