Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid: onsite Monday–Wednesday).

What you will do

• Design and build production AI agent systems to enhance matchmaking and member interactions.
• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and agent workflows using GCP.
• Implement prompt management, context orchestration, and response schema design.
• Build evaluation tooling, telemetry, and monitoring frameworks for AI performance analysis.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to ship iterative, high-quality features.
• Ensure responsible AI development by assessing outputs for quality, safety, and bias.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of software engineering experience in scalable backend systems.
• Deep expertise in Python development and cloud infrastructure (GCP).
• Experience building AI-powered products, specifically with LLMs, agents, or evaluation tooling.
• Strong understanding of observability, resilience, and operational clarity in system design.
• Must be based in Austin, TX and able to work onsite Monday–Wednesday.
