What you will do

• Design and scale backend systems for AI solutions serving over 167,000 customers.
• Contribute to agentic architecture to support high-performance AI agents.
• Build tools for LLM tuning, deployment of MCP and RAG, and performance evaluation using tools like Arize and Bedrock.
• Develop scalable APIs and reliable data pipelines for AI systems.
• Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and customer-first thinking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer building scalable distributed systems.
• Proven track record of launching ML/AI projects in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Boston.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark or Ray.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks like Huggingface, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
