What you will do

• Design and implement custom software and database applications for legacy and modernized systems.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure successful product delivery and team performance.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including sprint planning, testing, and releases.
• Analyze complex project problems and develop innovative technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Define and refine software engineering guidelines to support release planning.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a CBP background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design and Development (OODD) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (Git).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead design conversations and foster collaboration.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle including planning, requirements management, and quality assurance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or OCP Java.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, Kafka, application security, automated testing, or UML.
• Experience with state-management libraries like NGRX or NGXS.
• DevOps experience and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
