What you will do

• Apply AI agents across the stack to automate the staffing pipeline and set standards for AI-assisted tooling.
• Architect and lead core systems, including real-time matching and autonomous vetting pipelines powered by ML and agents.
• Own the platform architecture and technical roadmap to ensure scalability for the coming years.
• Drive backend performance, reliability, and overall system scale.
• Collaborate with the CTO on key architectural decisions as part of the founding team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with TypeScript/Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proven track record of shipping and leading large-scale projects with high velocity.
• Deep expertise in APIs, data modeling, query optimization, and distributed systems.
• Ability to own ambiguity and drive direction in an early-stage startup environment.
• Must be based in New York City, NY or San Francisco

• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM systems in production.
