TL;DR

Head of AMLCO & Compliance (Fintech): Leading regulatory adherence and AML strategy for a CySEC-regulated investment firm with an accent on bridging operations between the CIF and FinCrime Risk Management teams. Focus on ensuring MiFID II compliance, managing regulatory reporting, and driving a business-enabling compliance culture.

Location: Must be a resident of and currently living in Cyprus.

hirify.global is a European fintech startup building an all-in-one financial B2B platform that integrates banking, accounting, and invoicing for entrepreneurs.

What you will do

  • Act as the approved Compliance Officer and AMLCO for the CIF, representing the firm before CySEC.
  • Define reporting requirements and submit mandatory regulatory reports, including Annual Compliance and AML reports.
  • Oversee the handling of client complaints and manage escalations to the Financial Ombudsman.
  • Maintain Cyprus-specific CDD and Transaction Monitoring policies and procedures.
  • Review marketing materials and client communications to ensure MiFID II compliance.
  • Design and deliver mandatory internal AML and Compliance training programs for staff.

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Cyprus and currently living in Cyprus.
  • Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certificate and CySEC AML Certificate.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in a 2nd Line of Defense (Compliance/AML) role within a CySEC-regulated Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF).
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus AML legislation, CySEC directives, and the EU MiFID II framework.
  • Business-enabling mindset with the ability to empower the business while maintaining regulatory integrity.
  • Business proficiency in English.

  • Fluency in Greek.
