TL;DR

Location: Must be a resident of and currently living in Cyprus.

What you will do
- Act as the approved Compliance Officer and AMLCO for the CIF, representing the firm before CySEC.
- Define reporting requirements and submit mandatory regulatory reports, including Annual Compliance and AML reports.
- Oversee the handling of client complaints and manage escalations to the Financial Ombudsman.
- Maintain Cyprus-specific CDD and Transaction Monitoring policies and procedures.
- Review marketing materials and client communications to ensure MiFID II compliance.
- Design and deliver mandatory internal AML and Compliance training programs for staff.
Requirements
- Must be a resident of Cyprus and currently living in Cyprus.
- Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certificate and CySEC AML Certificate.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in a 2nd Line of Defense (Compliance/AML) role within a CySEC-regulated Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF).
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus AML legislation, CySEC directives, and the EU MiFID II framework.
- Business-enabling mindset with the ability to empower the business while maintaining regulatory integrity.
- Business proficiency in English.
