What you will do

• Monitor, assess, and manage vulnerabilities across operational systems and remote sites.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and risk assessments using industry-standard methodologies like CVSS.
• Ensure prompt remediation through patching, mitigation measures, and compensating controls.
• Identify and classify system anomalies while developing corrective actions and solution concepts.
• Maintain and update the Security Risk Register with new cyber security threats.
• Support secure engineering practices and conduct security awareness sessions for project personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT Systems Security or Cyber Security.
• Strong command line experience with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Must be eligible to obtain a German Ü2 security clearance.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with Python web frameworks like Django.
• Familiarity with software security testing techniques (static/dynamic analysis, fuzz testing).
• Experience in space, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated environments.
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
