hirify.global is recruiting for a client establishing a dedicated Security department to secure European operations across 8 countries.

What you will do

• Manage the IT-Security mailbox and provide guidance on security policies to employees.
• Handle identity lifecycle tasks, access reviews, and MFA troubleshooting in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Monitor and remediate phishing attempts using Defender for Office 365.
• Perform daily triage of security alerts in Microsoft Sentinel to distinguish false positives from real threats.
• Track CVEs and coordinate vulnerability remediation with IT operational teams.
• Support initial incident response and prepare regular security reports for leadership.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in IT Security or IT operations (career starters with security affinity are welcome).
• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• English: Fluent (working language).
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Munich, Germany.
• Ability to document findings, tickets, and escalations clearly in writing.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or German.
• Additional European languages such as French or Italian.
• Certifications: SC-900, AZ-200, or AZ-900.
