Vice President – Software & Digital Business (Automotive)

What you will do

• Define and execute the total vehicle experience vision, integrating intelligent cockpit, ADAS, and connectivity features.
• Oversee the full P&L and strategy for Shanghai OnStar, including subscription growth and partner ecosystem development.
• Lead software engineering architecture, development, and OTA evolution to ensure rapid feature upgrades.
• Represent software and digital intelligence topics at the highest levels of SAIC-GM governance.
• Build and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team across product management, UX/UI, and software engineering.
• Align enterprise IT and digital tools to support the software-defined vehicle business model.

Requirements

• Must be physically located in Shanghai, China for full-time on-site collaboration.
• Proven executive leadership experience in software-defined vehicle development or digital business transformation.
• Deep expertise in intelligent cockpit, ADAS, and connectivity hardware/software ecosystems.
• Strong ability to navigate complex joint-venture governance and cross-functional stakeholder environments.
• Experience in managing large-scale software engineering organizations and modern development practices.
• Ability to translate complex technical roadmaps into clear business narratives for global and regional leadership.
