Software Engineer

TL;DR

Software Engineer (C++/Linux): Develop and integrate software components for semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem systems with an accent on OOD/OOP, interface definitions, and Linux-based C++ tooling. Focus on building reliable multithreaded and networked software, diagnosing issues, and optionally contributing to AI/LLM model-serving and distributed/HPC architectures.

What you will do

• Design and implement software using OOD/OOP principles and established design patterns.
• Define and implement software interfaces and integration points.
• Build and maintain multithreaded and network programming components.
• Perform software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to modern model-serving and AI/LLM-related projects when applicable.
• Support end-to-end delivery from inception through production release using software development life cycles (waterfall and agile).

Requirements

• MS preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, EE, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in OOD/OOP and design patterns, including interface definitions.
• Required knowledge of Linux and GNU C++ development tools.
• Required experience with multitasking/threading and network programming.
• Strong software diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with HPC or distributed computing and multi-core systems.
• Experience integrating with MySQL or Oracle database applications.
• EDA or semiconductor industry experience.
• Knowledge of 300mm factory automation communication standards and operational scenarios.
• GUI design experience with Qt or other UI libraries.
