What you will do

• Define and drive the science roadmap for conversational AI capabilities powered by LLMs.
• Design and implement novel approaches to LLM fine-tuning, alignment (RLHF, DPO), and distillation for production.
• Architect scalable agentic systems involving multi-step reasoning, tool use, planning, and orchestration.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and methodologies to capture real-world conversational quality.
• Translate research advances into customer-facing products through collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex research initiatives from problem formulation to deployment.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree.
• Several years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or related languages.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Turin, Italy.

Nice to have

• Experience building large language models for business applications.
• Experience in speech recognition, machine translation, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Proficiency with Generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
