Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist (Agentic AI)

Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist (Agentic AI): Designing and deploying autonomous AI systems and intelligent workflows for banking domains such as Risk Management and Financial Crime with an accent on Agentic AI, RAG architectures, and multi-agent reasoning. Focus on scaling generative AI capabilities and developing production-grade AI agents that integrate with enterprise APIs and databases.

Location: Hybrid in Istanbul, Turkey ( typically 2 days/week in office, with one fully remote week per month)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows powered by Large Language Models.
• Develop multi-agent workflows to support complex reasoning and decision-making processes.
• Implement RAG architectures utilizing vector databases and embedding-based retrieval.
• Integrate AI systems with APIs, tools, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Establish frameworks for agent evaluation, monitoring, governance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Leads and Architects to turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable business solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or Generative AI.
• Degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and delivering production-ready code.
• Practical experience with RAG systems, vector databases, and LLM development patterns.
• English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in Istanbul, Turkey.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Familiarity with Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, or Vertex AI.
• Knowledge of fine-tuning, PEFT, and prompt engineering.
