What you will do
- Manage the preparation of propulsion equipment integration and functional tests for PQM and FM models.
- Procure tools, organize test setups, and prepare detailed procedures and schedules.
- Support the design of FGSE and collaborate with the design team on Design to Manufacture principles.
- Execute assembly and integration operations with a specialized team.
- Run functional tests including internal TVAC, outgassing, pressure tests, and Cv characterisation.
- Integrate thrusters, propulsion engines, and instrumentation onto the capsule.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Master or PhD) in mechanical science, propulsion, or equivalent.
- Combined expertise in mechanical assembly for integration and GSE design.
- Electrical skills for testing, including data acquisition systems, harness work, and simple Python scripting.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Munich, Germany.
- Strong organizational skills, a hands-on approach, and a problem-solving mindset.
