What you will do

• Develop and evaluate anomaly detection approaches for machine learning models to ensure data reliability.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify out-of-distribution behavior and data inconsistencies.
• Design and calibrate anomaly scoring mechanisms and decision thresholds for production environments.
• Validate solutions using historical data and simulated anomalous scenarios.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to define anomaly types and translate insights into workflows.
• Document methodology and validation results for internship and thesis deliverables.

Requirements

• Must be a Master’s student in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Must be registered as a student during the entire internship period.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis or ML workflows.
• Solid foundation in statistics, anomaly detection, or distribution-shift analysis.
• Ability to translate analytical results into practical engineering decisions.
• Interest in semiconductor test data and industrial ML deployment.
