Senior Data Science Consultant

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands, with the opportunity to work from home, at the client, or from the office in Amsterdam. Work permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Develop explanatory and predictive decision-support models using machine learning, statistics, econometrics, forecasting, and quantitative analysis.
• Design and implement constrained optimization and simulation solutions.
• Apply algorithms to process large volumes of unstructured data.
• Manage end-to-end client projects, including reporting, deliverables, and commitment tracking.
• Build client relationships, contribute to commercial proposals, and identify new collaboration opportunities.
• Supervise consultants and support the development of their technical and soft skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree in civil engineering, applied mathematics, IT, or a similar field.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, communication, flexibility, and entrepreneurial skills.
• Strong interest in data science, AI, and related sectors such as energy and finance.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to work in the Netherlands; work permit sponsorship is unavailable.
