What you will do

• Underwrite renewal business across ML product lines in accordance with company guidelines and performance targets.
• Evaluate risk exposures, loss history, and operational data to determine appropriate pricing and coverage.
• Partner with wholesale brokers to provide competitive quotes and responsive underwriting guidance.
• Maintain and expand a portfolio of high-performing broker relationships to drive retention.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine pricing models, guidelines, and coverage forms.
• Bind renewal accounts and ensure accurate, compliant documentation for all decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of underwriting experience in Management Liability, specifically with renewal business in wholesale distribution.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional broker relationships.
• Expertise in specialty liability policy forms, rating procedures, and coverage structures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and distributed communication.
