Staff Information Systems Security Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Washington, D.C., United States

Salary: $120,000–$190,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees

What you will do

• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls under RMF and NIST 800-53 requirements.
• Support RMF lifecycle activities, system accreditation, SSPs, POA&Ms, and related security artifacts.
• Perform vulnerability management, patch tracking, scan analysis, and system risk reporting using ACAS/Nessus.
• Support incident response, audits, inspections, and audit-ready documentation.
• Oversee Cross Domain Solutions security, including accreditation, configuration validation, and data-flow reviews.
• Maintain STIG-compliant baselines and advise engineers and administrators on secure design and MLS environments.

Requirements

• Eight years of cybersecurity or ISSM/ISSO experience in classified environments.
• Experience with RMF and NIST 800-53.
• Familiarity with STIGs and vulnerability management tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C.
• Successful cleared background review is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Intelligence Community or SAP environments.
• Familiarity with eMASS.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
