What you will do

• Administer, test, and implement computer databases to support NIWC Atlantic contracts.
• Design and maintain AWS database solutions to ensure system stability.
• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) solutions.
• Coordinate database changes and apply security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Support Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• 10 years of experience (with Master's) or 14 years (with Bachelor's) in database administration.
• 3 years of experience designing and maintaining AWS database solutions.
• 2 years of experience implementing and troubleshooting AWS RDS.
• Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Chesapeake, VA.
