Location: Hybrid Remote (Bristol, UK), typically 2-3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop integration and end-to-end tests to validate system behavior across component and team boundaries.
• Support and improve hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing setups to validate software against real or simulated hardware.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated and reliable software delivery.
• Write scripts and tooling to automate test execution, reporting, and environment setup.
• Utilize Docker to build consistent, reproducible test and deployment environments.
• Collaborate with robotics, AI, and simulation teams to identify and resolve integration issues.

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in unit, integration, or end-to-end software testing.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, including shell scripting and bash for automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with container-based tools like Docker.
• Programming experience in modern C++ and/or Python.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the Bristol, UK office.

Nice to have

• Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of ROS2 or other robotics middleware.
• Experience with Machine Learning pipelines or AI systems.
• Interest in robotics, autonomous systems, or subsea technology.
