What you will do

• Translate abstract creative themes into clear, rationalized gameplay pillars and meta-structures.
• Own the structural blueprint of the game, ensuring narrative and fantasy align with mechanical elements.
• Design robust moment-to-moment gameplay and long-term retention loops for live-service stability.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers ranging from junior to senior levels.
• Act as the primary design ambassador for cross-functional teams including Engineering, UI/UX, and Audio.
• Establish high quality bars and validate all design work to ensure mechanic solidity and balance.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in game design with at least one shipped major AAA multiplayer title.
• Minimum 2+ years of direct experience managing and mentoring game designers.
• Proven experience in pre-production and defining core loops for live-service games.
• Strong analytical and creative skills with the ability to communicate complex design concepts clearly.
• Deep understanding of multiplayer architectural constraints, including matchmaking and anti-cheat systems.
• Ability to work within a game editor to prototype design ideas during early conception.

• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine.
