What you will do

• Design and implement engaging game mechanics, systems, and features.
• Create detailed design documents, wireframes, and prototypes for new gameplay elements.
• Iterate on designs based on player feedback and rigorous playtesting.
• Collaborate closely with developers and artists to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Manage pacing, progression, and balance to create compelling player experiences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Game Designer in the gaming industry.
• Strong grasp of game design fundamentals, including pacing and balance.
• Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in both Spanish and English-speaking environments.
• Proven ability to create technical design documentation and prototypes.

Nice to have

• Experience with level design and creating immersive environments.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience in narrative design and crafting game stories.
• Ability to use scripting languages for gameplay prototyping.
• Experience designing for multiplayer, competitive, or cooperative play.
