What you will do

• Build and maintain efficient rating systems and risk/simulation models using Python and Excel.
• Research and leverage industry data to enhance rating, admitted filings, and underwriting guidance.
• Develop complex analyses regarding underwriting, operations, product performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with data science and insurance teams on data normalization, cleansing, and process improvement.
• Support the integration and production of new data sources to maximize business applications.
• Present technical findings and statistical analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of total work experience, specifically including P&C insurance.
• 2+ years of experience with Python.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, etc.).
• Experience with modern cloud computing and cloud databases (AWS, Snowflake).
• Ability to translate technical statistical results into actionable business recommendations.

Nice to have

• ACAS or FCAS certification.
• Domain knowledge in management or professional liability.
