What you will do

• Establish a clear vision and direction for the AI paradigm and practices, aligning them with overall business strategy.
• Collaborate with executive-level stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data and data quality for AI and machine learning.
• Lead the overall AI system design, problem framing, governance, and risk management.
• Design experiments for rapid testing of ideas and prioritize data science projects based on business objectives.
• Communicate technical findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Build and drive the growth of the data science community and promote a culture of data literacy.

Requirements

• Experience in the Retail and Customer Analytics industry.
• Proven track record of defining DS strategy/vision and overseeing models from inception to production.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization.
• Specialization in at least one AI area such as NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI.
• Proficiency in R, Python, or equivalent tools for writing production-ready, testable code.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring junior team members.
