What you will do

• Lead strategic planning and execution of automated processes for nucleic acid extractions, NGS, and molecular assays.
• Operate and optimize automation platforms such as Tecan, Beckman, and PerkinElmer.
• Design and implement sophisticated liquid handling strategies to streamline lab operations.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues during live production runs.
• Mentor Level Two Engineers and oversee training programs for junior staff.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to push the boundaries of organization automation capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a biotechnology environment.
• Mastery in troubleshooting liquid handling equipment, specifically Tecan, Beckman, and PerkinElmer systems.
• Proven track record in method development on automation platforms and driving process improvements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of precision, accuracy, and Six-Sigma methodologies.
