Junior Project Manager

What you will do

• Deliver work orders and project support activities under the direction of senior managers.
• Manage risks and issues by maintaining and updating RAID logs.
• Organize and control delivery activities to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Track work order costs and manage changes to scope and budget.
• Provide status updates and contribute to project governance and reporting.

Requirements

• Must be a UK resident for at least 5 years to obtain Government Security Clearance (SC).
• Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience in risk management and mitigation.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a project delivery environment.
• Knowledge of financial management and budget tracking.
• Experience using AI tools like Copilot for productivity.
