What you will do

• Lead the delivery of advanced analytics and AI initiatives for AML detection, sanctions screening, and KYC/KYB risk modelling.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Product engineering team and compliance stakeholders to scope analytical workstreams.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted workflows, including LLM-assisted coding and automated analytical pipelines.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to develop production-grade and auditable detection models and risk scoring systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data scientists and analytics engineers through code and methodology reviews.
• Lead the data science workstream for regulatory responses and internal audit events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, quantitative analytics, or ML, with leadership experience in compliance or regulatory analytics.
• Hands-on experience in AML typology detection, sanctions analytics, KYC/KYB modelling, or transaction monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with expertise in supervised, unsupervised, anomaly detection, and graph-based ML methods.
• An AI-first mindset with experience integrating LLMs and automation into professional workflows.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills to engage with compliance officers, product managers, and engineers.
• Current right to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the crypto ecosystem, on-chain analytics, blockchain data, or VASP compliance frameworks.
• Experience with formal model validation, regulatory examinations, or enforcement responses.
